About Timber Ridge Dog Club

The Timber Ridge Dog Training Club, Inc. is a group of Central Wisconsin dog fanciers interested in obedience, field trials, agility, tracking, service dogs, and therapy dogs.  We offer training classes to the public as a service to help dog owners learn to control and care for their pets.

The Club was founded in 1991, and currently has a membership of about 60.   Members have access to training facilities in Mosinee and Amherst Junction.

Timber Ridge is associated with both UKC and AKC.  For AKC affiliation the organization is recognized as Timber Ridge Agility Club of Central Wisconsin.  The club hosts sanctioned agility and obedience trials throughout the year.

Membership

Membership is open to adults who are interested in any aspect of dog training. Monthly meetings are held in Mosinee.  Visitors may attend one meeting and are then asked to submit an application for membership if they wish to continue attending meetings.  Dues are $15 per year.  Members come from the Wausau, Stevens Point, Merrill, Rhinelander and surrounding areas.

Membership benefits include the access to indoor training facilities in Mosinee and Amherst Junction.  Agility training equipment is available for members' use.
